To protect conference keynote speaker Lierre Keith from being harmed by transgender terrorists (we all know their violent and criminal tendencies), apparently the University of Oregon Police and the Eugene Police Department are now fully prepared to counter any attempt at sabotaging or terrorizing the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference, which is slated to begin tomorrow in Eugene, Oregon.
The transgender terrorists are nevertheless planning on “protest” “hatemonger” Lierre Keith now that the University correctly refused to no-platform Keith. Here is what the transgenders are up to, according to Facebook:
Please read everything in the event description!
Lierre Keith will be one of the keynote speakers at the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference. She will be speaking at approximately 7:30pm on Thursday the 27th in the EMU ballroom.
To protest racism, transphobia, and many other harmful words and actions by Lierre Keith and her organization Deep Green Resistance, we will engage in a peaceful walkout during her talk.
The opening ceremonies of the conference will be in the EMU ballroom from 5:45-6:15pm. The keynotes are scheduled from 6:15-8:30pm. There are 2 other keynote speakers besides Lierre Keith at this time. We are not protesting the other keynote speakers.
From 1-5pm There will be sign-making in the Survival Center in the EMU basement. There will be supplies available.
5pm brief meeting to discuss walk out plans.
6-7pm head to the ballroom (elevator available for wheelchair users)
7:30ish Keith starts talking. A few minutes into her talk we walk out to the EMU amphitheater to rally and speak out against bigotry.
We have heard that backpacks will be searched. We’re not sure if backpacks will even be allowed into the ballroom. We have also heard that no re-entry will be allowed. We are expecting a lot of security and/or police to be present at the ballroom.
We have also heard that to attend the keynote speeches tickets are required. The tickets are free. People who register for the conference can pick them up at 2pm. People who are not registered can get them at 4pm. Not sure where people pick them up from but the EMU ticket office or the PIELC registration table are good bets.
You can register for the conference here:
Here is the full schedule of the conference. Note that there are also 4 different workshops/panels by Deep Green Resistance.
Here you can find maps of the University of Oregon campus:
Here you can find maps of the EMU building. The ballroom is on the 2nd level and the survival center is on the lower level.
We are not condemning or condoning other actions that may or may not happen.
This facebook event is not a forum to plan any actions, discuss strategy, have debates, etc Please comment elsewhere and not on this event.
The last two sentences are extremely disturbing, as this is almost always a veiled threat that there will be violence and property destructions. In anarchist-speak, this is called “diversity of tactics” (“not condemning or condoning other actions”… however criminal, harmful, or violent that might be) and “security culture” (“not a forum to plan….”). As we have seen during “Occupy” and other anarchist protests, whenever this kind of statement is issued inevitably there will be “Black Bloc” kids who would be causing mayhem.
We commend the law enforcement and the University administration to do everything they can in order to prevent this violence targeted towards a woman by white privileged males. These men deserve to be locked up and subjected to “enhanced interrogation” until they are fully awaken from their “transgender” delusion and sexual fantasy.
Regardless of one’s opinion on Lierre Keith or anyone else, no-platforming is unacceptable and is an anathema to a respected public university. It is antithetical to academic freedom and quest for the truth.
